till krause

Born 1965 in Hamburg; lives in Hamburg.
Studied at the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg and the Braunschweig University of Art.

The focus of Till Krauses' art work is less on landscape and nature as aesthetic work materials than on the questions regarding their history, use and structure. He examines the mode and method with which humanity treats and lives in their immediate landscape, and how these relationships can be tangibly read on site. He often realises his projects, which agitate in the border area between art and other sciences, in close cooperation with other fellow artists.
