Born 1968 in Helsingborg, Sweden; lives in Sweden.

Central to the work of Håkansson is the observation of plants, birds, insects or other organisms and their environments, as well as the exploration of the possible forms of dialogue between man and nature. Håkansson shows fragments of natural cycles, which he records and recreates at other locations. For him, the observation of nature itself as well as the observation of the observation are the elements of priority. This dual aspect is crucial, as it has become our most common perception model. In the end, we compare what we perceive as nature with that, for example, that is shown as nature in the media.
